Superhero Logos (2009)
Created 9 superhero logos to be used in different shots of a short film. Logos needed to be of different colors, look 3-D, and look very realistic. Client also provided direction after initial sketches.

3-color print. Tee-shirt needed to be exciting and "cool" for teens film crews to wear on the film set. Logo, web address, brand logo and a slogan needed to be integrated.

Big Life Drama Poster (2008)
Poster design for movie genre inspired contest. Logo and Poster created together. Brand elements integrated throughout. Used Art Nouveau inspired, turn of the century elements.

Books drawn from actual books, client requested specific elements with a realistic, sketch-style.

Mock project for typography conference in Reading, England. Used "old-world" and wood-carved type visuals to influence the design.

J. Marie Events Card (2009)
Influenced by "mod" and French boutique-style, after meeting this client. Client requested browns and pinks. Used variations of that color combo.

Logo needed to show the church, Chicago skyline, and the globe. Without looking too busy. The colors reflect a "green" and environmental feeling.

Flavorville Marquee (2007)
Sign needed to look extremely realistic. Chains are istock photos. Chose marquee colors to compliment brand red color in the background.

Hellmann's Ad Background (2007)
Freelance project. Creative Director needed some help adding an illustrative element to the background. No direction other than using Hellmann's blue and trying to represent the mayo.
